Tim and Shana's Wedding

Can't believe Tim and Shana's wedding has come and gone! They got married September 29th in Waitsfield, Vermont on the beautiful rolling countryside. Here are all my pics from the weekend -

I left Atlanta for Vermont last Thursday and arrived to this -

This was the view from the cabin my family stayed in. It was much colder than I anticipated, unfortunately I didn't make the best packing choices. But VT is always beautiful and even though I came down with some kind of virus my first couple of days there I was so happy to be there celebrating their big day!

I took it easy Thursday and Friday, mostly stayed in and rested. Friday afternoon and evening was the rehearsal at the venue and rehearsal dinner at American Flatbread, one of the best restaurants ever.

Tim and Shana

Dad and Chris, my oldest brother who lives in Brooklyn, NY

No shortage of delish pizza to go around

Brownie sundaes for dessert

Saturday morning - Game day! All the bridesmaids met at the house Tim and Shana were renting for hair and makeup -

And some cocktails :) Sparking white wine with lemon gelato and fresh mint leaves, so good!

Get it

Hey Shannon and Jonathan! (the deer head, haha)

Looking super fresh faced and awake, haha. I didn't post this pic on FB but figured it would be safe on here. Shana gave each of us bridesmaids those cute robes in different colors and patterns to wear getting ready together, so cute!

The bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets, love the hydrangeas

Absolutely obsessed with Shana's Badgley Mischka shoes, gorgeous (and we're the same size ;-), she's going to wear them on their anniversaries :)

Slightly improved from our previous pic, haha.

The ceremony! Snagged these pics from one of Shana's relatives on FB (couldn't hide a camera in my bouquet)

My dad, a retired judge, got to marry them which was really special

Married!

Oh hey sis!

Can't wait to see all of the professional pics!

Being announced at their reception -

First dance :)

They opened the floor up for toasts and my dad gave a not super short one telling the story of how Tim used to eat hard boiled eggs and received them as rewards and how on a vacation to Disney World my parents had them in their fanny packs and yelled to Tim on a fairy boat, "Tim do you want your hard boiled egg?!" as people scattered because of the smell. Welcome to our family, Shana.

Within .2 seconds of my dad finishing Tim jumped up to cut off the toasts and thanked everyone for coming. So glad he was the first of us to get married. "You just wait til your wedding!" He said right as he sat back down.

With our grandparents, Mama and Papa Kidd, looking thrilled haha who made the trip up from Prattville, Ala.

 With my new sis!

The pretty cake -

A variety of mini cupcakes from a local bakery, they made sure to have red velvet for me :)

 Dancing pics!

Another one I didn't post on FB haha -

Aunt Brenda and her boyfriend Simon dancing the night away

Tim and my mom, pretty typical Tim face

After the wedding the wedding party and friends hung out at a house that some of their friends were renting close by. Someone attempted to teach me poker but I got tired and bored. Ended the chilly night around a bonfire.

All in all it was a perfect day. Everything went very smoothly, the weather cleared, Shana was beautiful and Tim was so happy. Now they're taking it easy in Hawaii!

The next morning my dad signing the papers making it official

Tim and Shana at their rental house in post wedding mode

Chris and Fredo, haha

I think she was happy to have a break from Jake, he was staying at one of their friends in Burlington.

On the drive back to the airport through small town Vermont, the leaves were actually all different colors but didn't capture in my pic.

Welcome to the fam, Shana! I think you are well aware how crazy we all are, haha.
