I'm so domestic

Not proud to admit that I bought spices and spice jars from Ikea, but they were so cute and cheap I couldn't resist. Between that and my Souper Jenny cookbook, I appear to be quite the cook!

Actually my dinner tonight was frozen Trader Joe's chicken stir fry with some spinach leaves thrown in and for dessert an apple and vanilla yogurt. A good dinner but no culinary skills required.

Another Ikea purchase (I went on my day off Monday) was this philodendron. I could have sworn my mom said they were outside plants, yeah I heard wrong. I left it on my balcony for 3 days in 90 degree heat. I know plants don't have feelings, but I feel bad :(
